SO.

I know it's been a few days since the con ended, but I was too busy wallowing in post-con depression to make a journal. Oh yeah, and I was just still really tired. BUT HERE IT IS. Just sit right there, and let me tell you a story abou- Wait, Will Smith isn't here.

So this convention started on thursday, like any other convention for me. I packed up my things and after a wild goose chase to find specific con-rations, I made my way up to 's house. After arriving somewhat late, we went to continue our quest for the appropriate rations, then made our way to ihop, where she ordered like... 14 different drinks. Water, hot chocolate, coffee and such. It made me giggle. We eventually found our way back to her house were we spent a good couple hours styling wigs, repacking suitcases - neither which worked the way we wanted to. So we just retired.

We originally intended to get up at 11, but somehow we both woke up like... before 8 am. So after killing a few hours, we decided to just go ahead and leave early. Good thing we did, because there was a lot to get done. After picking up and running several errands, ~Thirteen13XIII and dropped me off at the con to meet my pals and . I was so excited to see them, but they somehow still managed to sneak up on me!

So I checked into the hotel room, we dragged all of our stuff in and laid claim to our respective spots. After unpacking and making sure everything was orderly... It was time for dinner~! With ~Thirteen13XIII and ~ArcadiaEclipse still out, ~thru-apeture-eyes, ~Morijana and I headed off to King of Prussia mall, where we found... and . So with a Xemnas, Xigbar, Marluxia, Larxene and a Demyx... We headed to fridays to eat. Out of cosplay, of course. We couldn't risk getting dirty! Yummy food, burgers, nachoes and other stuff.

After that, mall and sparkly pink pants. Finding and friends at Fridays, going back in to say hi. Eventually we made our way back to the hotel room, Mar and Xem went home, but ~zombiedodge followed us back. And we picked up the stray and my Demyx II/Kelsey~! But this journal is getting too long already, and the convention hasn't started. Let's just say, while I don't know what the guys were doing, the girls were trying to blow up an air-mattress with a dying pump, before I decided to fall off the bed (is anyone reading the whole thing). Let's just say, it was a fun night. But sadly, everyone had to go home at one point. So Xig, Larx, Axel/Saix/Xemnas/Ray and I went to bed.

SATURDAY MORNING.

We all woke up early. Well, the girls did. Xigbar didn't seem like such a fan. It was about 7:30 or so when us girls rolled out of our rooms in casual org cosplay to go stand in the registration line. Ray (as Saix this time) was smart enough to preregister. Larxene, Xigbar and I were not. That was all fine. With only 200 spots open before they reached their cap, we had to hop in line about an hour and a half early. No problem, right? Wrong. Within five minutes of us hopping in line, they decided that it was too crowded with both lines... They moved the at-door registration line outside. Larxene and I had certainly not dressed for this. While I had a jacket, turtleneck and pants, she only had a miniskirt and tank top. IMMEDIATELY I threw my jacket onto her, Ray tied hers around Larxene's legs, and I called up Xigbar to bring us a blanket. That arrived soon enough, and for the moment we were warm (no we weren't). About an hour or so in, I decided that I was cold as well, so we had to snuggle. Thanks to *ColdMidnightAirxx, you guys can see a picture of the snuggling. And yes, there is an unshaved Xaldin in the background.

Somewhere around 9:30 am, we finally made it within the warm sanctuary, and from there, the line was pretty quick. Once we grabbed our badges, it was time to spend another hour or so getting ready. I didn't really have much to do, but it's always awesome watching Xigbar's transformation. And the moment came that we were already. I was very excited. I haven't been able to play with everyone since Anime Boston. Almost the instant we were out in the convention, we were stopped for pictures. But Saix was becoming uncomfortable for Ray, so she changed into Axel. While she was doing so, Larx, Xig, and I were stopped and interviewed... by MTV! Apparently, they were shooting pre-footage for a segment of MADE. So yeah, they interviewed us and stuff (I got a call from them today asking for more information - it's cool guys). Meanwhile, the line we were in earlier stretched all the way outside, along the building and through the entire parking lot. I am glad we got in early.

At some point I had run back inside to get Ray, because Xig, Larx and I were hungry and wanted to go to the mall. Once all four of us were together, we started walking to the car. As we came into sight, the second half of the line SCREAMED. Like, not that blood curdling scream, but wickedly rabid fangirl scream. The kind that makes you feel like you should be running in a montage, with a stampede of teenage girls chasing you. It... was overwhelmingly awesome. I felt like such a rockstar, it was... just amazing to get that kind of response. Sure, it was probably because of Larxene and Xigbar and all their =AfterlifeUSECness, but still. So after spending about 15 minutes posing for a never-ending line of people wanting pictures not just of us, but WITH us, we finally made a run for the car. Strategically piling in, Xig and I playing origami in the back, we rolled out - in style, with screaming fans, and nearly running Roxas over in the process.

Mall was fun, food time and cosplay exploring, but nothing very special. We ran to the disney store, got caught by ~Nox-Sirch and girlfriend, Kelsey, then returned to con... Oh Em Gee, that is RTC as well~! We RTC'd. Once back, our friends (if I remembered your DAs I would link you here) asked if I had lost my badge. I looked down, and panicked. I had lost my badge! But lucky for me, their friend had found it ontop of a trashcan at the mall (this mall is huge guys) and had brought it back for me. What are the chances of that?!

Back to con, we had alot of fun just randomly running around, hitting up the dealers room and artist alley. Speaking of which, there is a girl I want to apologize to. She had a cute outfit on with a bunch of cards on it. It looked like a creative take on the Mad Hatter, I believe. If you are reading this, I am so sorry if it felt like I snubbed you in the dealers room. It was crowded and we kept getting told not to block the area, so when you asked if we could stop for a picture, I had meant that we could go outside. I am sorry if I seemed rude, I just didn't want us to get in trouble. D:

AND so long as we are on the subject of people I want to mention, let me tell you about the coolest girl ever. So as we are chillin', talking to artists in the artist alley, this woman comes up and says that if her daughter can take a picture with me, I would just make her day. So up comes this adorable red-headed girl, who I later find is ~Water-Fae here on DA (go say hi), and I am thinking "This is the most awesome girl ever". So we take a picture, and I am just fangirling over this Demyx-fan. I wanted so bad to keep her and have a little Demyx clone. But her mom might've seen that as a little weird. So I thank them, and head out. But later her mom finds me on DA, tells me that all of her kids are into Kingdom Hearts, and that Water-fae wants to be Demyx. I am excited to see this cosplay. And if she wasn't cool enough, she found me later... AND HAD PIXIE STIX. Seriously, guys. She gave me two pixie stix, and I downed them as quickly as possible. Meeting you was so much fun, and I'm glad we found each other here too!

So, back to the convention. I don't really remember much else about this day, except posing for photos all day until Ray's dating game. That, in itself, was hillarious. But so totally pushing the PG-13 limits. xD

Eventually, it's bed time again, and as we all lay there winding down, funny conversations occur. I can't remember them at all, I just remember laughing until I choked in the pitch black.

SUNDAY

Sunday rolls around - and this journal is long so far. You guys still with me? We were in a rush to get into costume and check out in time, so we just threw all of our stuff into Larx's car, then bummed around the convention for a good while. When ~Thirteen13XIII showed up, we transferred our stuff, then piled in for a road trip to Valley Forge... 3 minutes away. Finding the church a perfect place for a photoshoot, we took turns taking photos of each other. The challenge came when we wanted a picture of all four of us. Balancing a camera on a waterbottle, then setting the timer seemed like a good idea. But it was too dark.

Then something AWESOME happened.

A woman came up to us, and asked us if she wanted her professional photographers to take the picture for us. This woman, dressed in an all white dress, and blonde hair (older Namine, for sure) was in the middle of a photoshoot as well, and loved our outfits. Having no idea where we were from, she still wanted photos with us. So her team set us up and took photos with their professional equipment... all for free. I feel so incredibly awesome after that.

Afterwards, we charged back to the Scanticon, where I found the joys of...

JELLYFISH!

Sad thing is, all but maybe three people will ever understand that statement. But it was funny none the less. We chilled for a bit longer, found our friends and took more pictures but for the most part, it was just more posing for pictures, and just hanging out. I think we saw Katie again, and that may have been when I aquired the pixie stix, but this whole convention was just such a blur of excitement.

Sadly, it had to end at some point. Saying good-bye to ~Morijana and ~thru-apeture-eyes (without crying this time), I piled in the car with ~Thirteen13XIII, ~ArcadiaEclipse and their pal Cassia, AND all of our crap, we began our journey home.. Or to the Chilis across the street. Much yummy food later, we once again packed in, and drove back south - away from the convention and back home.

I know this journal is ridiculously long, possibly my longest yet. But this con was such an awesome experience for me. Small though it was, it was just so much fun to be able to hang with my friends. Here are some of the highlights for those who didn't read it all -

- Paparazzi are kind of scary in an awesome sort of way.

- MTV goes to conventions too.
